2. Description
The work adopts a structure in which a camera captures the real-time movements of a subject and processes them through digital algorithms. The captured movement of the subject generates a transparent window that corresponds to the area of its motion. What becomes visible through this window is the surrounding environment of the subject.
Whenever the subject moves along a different trajectory, another window is created. Multiple windows may accumulate on the screen, and through the outline of the moving subject, fragments of the surrounding environment are continuously produced as images. These images function as another spatial layer within the screen, while the subject keeps moving and generating new windows through this ongoing process.
In doing so, the subject appears to dress its raw presence with the textures of the surrounding environment, while the empty windows it scatters across the screen encounter the sensory traces of that environment. Through this process, the work reveals a continuous interaction between movement, perception, and space.
